The Latest: A Year-End Question for You 🌱

👋 Welcome to the December issue of The Latest, where our lights are always twinkly, our cocoa is always hot, and our holiday wishes for you and yours are always joyful. ✨

This month’s newsletter is just 154 words — a quick 40-50 second read (because none of us need long-winded messages this time of year).

🌱 My Year-End Question: What Are You Cultivating for 2023?

I am adding a new icon in 2023 — the terrific watering can — because it has me thinking about important questions, especially as we wrap up another busy year.

  • What spaces are you cultivating — personally, professionally, spiritually?

  • How are you growing yourself (and others)?

  • What “water” and “sunshine” do you need in your life right now? For me, it’s rest. I listened to a podcast episode with Tricia Hersey, author of Rest is Resistance: A Manifesto, and it really got me thinking about how I need to rethink rest.

Connect with these questions, me, and others on LinkedIn — to respond, get inspired by other responses, and cultivate our online community!

Until 2023, stay safe, stay well, and stay cultivating,

Stephanie 🤟

P.S. And stay tuned! In the January newsletter, I’ll share how this amazing story in the Chronicle of Higher Ed came about.
